1. Who we are

CalcForU ("we", "our") operates the website calcforu.com and is the data controller for the personal data described below. For any privacy question write to robi@serverhr.ro.

2. What we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to operate the calculators and understand aggregate usage:

• IP address (to auto-detect your country so the calculators load with your local tax rates; the address is not stored).
• Usage data via Google Analytics 4 (pages viewed, session duration, device type). Only collected if you accept cookies.
• Consent choice, stored in your browser's local storage so we don't ask you again on every visit.

3. Why we process it

We have two legal bases under the GDPR:

• Legitimate interest — running the site, preventing abuse, and serving the correct country-specific tax rates.
• Consent — for all analytics and advertising cookies, which you can grant or withdraw at any time from the footer.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services, each subject to its own privacy policy:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) — anonymised usage metrics.
• Google AdSense (when enabled) — personalised or non-personalised ads based on your consent choice.
• Our hosting provider — for serving the site and basic request logs.

5. How long we keep it

Google Analytics retains aggregated data for up to 14 months. Your consent choice stays in your browser until you change it or clear your cookies. We do not keep a separate server-side database of visitors.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR (and equivalent laws in the UK, Brazil, etc.) you have the right to:

• Access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you.
• Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time via the footer.
• Object to processing or request data portability.
• Lodge a complaint with your national Data Protection Authority.
